Qualifications:
Computer Science degree required.
Previous internship/coop experience doing software development a plus
Familiar with general data structures (i.e. SQL, MS Access)
Familiar with event driven programming (i.e. Visual Basic, Visual Studio .Net)
Familiar with object oriented programming (i.e. C++, Java)
Ability to show an initiative
Ability to be creative and work on multiple tasks
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn to accomplish a wide range of tasks quickly
Good Communication Skills
Responsibilities:
Handle phone and email support
Become proficient with the Clarion (www.softvelocity.com) programming language
Develop software to continue to grow and update our current software packages as well as develop new
custom software packages in the future

Deal with software testing for any minor or major updates to all software packages
Be involved with building install packages and deployment of updates to customers
Create tech support websites and keep information current
Opportunities to work towards development and support of software with a MS SQL database backend
