Truck Tracker includes more than 90 reports to provide management insight of your fleet. Many of the reports can be filtered by date range and nearly all of them have custom filtering options. > What are the System Requirements?

The system can be deployed on a network or standalone PC with minimum Pentium III-compatible processor or higher, 600 MHz (1 GHz Recommended) CPU, and 512 MB (1 GB recommended) RAM. Supported OS versions are Windows XP, Server 2003/2008, Vista and Windows 7.


> Can Truck Tracker be run on a network?

Yes. Truck Tracker is a server package optimized for network use. It will run seamlessly on a standalone system, LAN or WAN, and can be used with Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Services for remote access.


> Does Truck Tracker track PMs?

Yes. Truck Tracker allows you to schedule and track preventive maintenance for each vehicle/unit. The software will also warn you in advance about upcoming service and reported problems and send e-mail notifications.


> Does Truck Tracker track fuel and mileage in each state?

Yes. Truck Tracker allows you to log mileage and fuel entries by state. You can run reports to help total the amounts per state or per vehicle.


> Does Truck Tracker track IFTA reports?

Fuel tax reports can be generated per state and mileage reports can be generated by state.


> Does Truck Tracker track parts usage and costs?

Yes. Truck Tracker has an easy to use parts tracking system that will track your costs and quantities per vehicle/unit, site and region. With the Standard version you can track part quantities, costs and classifications right out of the box. The Professional version includes a full featured parts inventory system that allows you to track purchases, receipts, adjustments, parts usage, core tracking, warranty tracking, and physical inventory processes.


> Can I determine how much I spent on a vehicle over a given period of time and what service and parts were done and used?

Yes. You can easily determine your total cost and cost per mile for a single vehicle or the entire fleet, including services, parts, fuel and expenses.


> Can I determine which parts are obsolete and which ones need to be reordered?

Yes. You can easily determine obsolete parts by entered a specified obsolete date, and you generate a reorder report based on your reorder parameters. You can also use a proven reorder formula that will automatically determine when and how many parts need to be ordered based on the past history of the part. These two functions will help reduce your carrying costs.


> Does Truck Tracker track dual meter readings in miles, kilometers, and/or hours?

Yes to all of the above. You can customize the list of meter types. This means that all forms, lists and reports will show the right meter types. In the Professional package you can customize the units of measure to choose from when defining parts. These units of measure will carry to all the labels and reports in the parts inventory tracking.


> Does Truck Tracker track fluids in liters or gallons?

Yes. You have the option to track fluids in liters or gallons for each vehicle.


> Does Truck Tracker track tire information and tire warranty?

Yes. You can specify the warranty period and expected life of the tire. The software will warn you when the tire has almost reached it's expected life.


> Does Truck Tracker allow you to attach documents?

Yes, Truck Tracker allows you to attach any type of document to vehicles, employees and parts.


> What is MicroSoft SQL database and how is it different from other non-SQL databases?

A SQL database allows you to process information at a more efficient rate than non-SQL databases. The SQL database provides a higher level of security, reliability and scalability for your company's software.


> Is Truck Tracker scalable?

Yes, Truck Tracker can grow as your company and needs grow. Site, user, and vehicle licenses may be added at any date. Addtionally, optional modules or package upgrades may be purchased at any time.


> Can fuel data from third party fuel software be imported into Truck Tracker?

Yes. Currently Truck Tracker can import fuel data from PetroVend, Phoenix, FuelMan, GasBoy, Wright Express and FuelMaster fuel systems. How? The system has import routines with pre-mapped data file formats for each of the Fuel interfaces. You can import multiple fuel data files at once, and then validate and process them in a single batch.


> Can PM reminders and other alerts be e-mailed out?

Yes. Truck Tracker provides the capability to designate the e-mail recipients and each specific reminder and/or alerts they should receive.


> What data can be imported into and exported from Truck Tracker?

Truck Tracker can import any Vehicle, Parts, Vendor, Employee and Service Code list. The Vehicle Total Cost Report, several Inventory Reports, several types of Vehicle lists, assorted Service Code lists, and various Employee lists can be exported from Truck Tracker.


> Can Truck Tracker data be exported to our Accounting software?

Yes you can export all of the data from Truck tracker software, but there are no pre-built accounting interfaces in the software to import into your accounting software, that would need to be done on your end.


> How does the Truck Tracker perform database backups?

The software will automatically create a full database backup file each night and place it in a user-defined location on your computer or network, or you can generate backup files manually.


> What type of support is offered?

There are three different support plans offered; Gold, Silver and Bronze. You may select the plan that would best suit your individual needs. Please see our “Support” webpage for more details.


> Is Truck Tracker a onetime purchase? Yes. Are there any recurring costs?

The Maintenance and Support Plans are renewable on an annual basis.


> Can a PM schedule be set up for multiple vehicles at one time?

Yes. Vehicles assigned to a specific PM Groupi can have one schedule set up for the entire group.


> Can Truck Tracker be accessed by a user from a remote location?

Yes. The user may access Truck Tracker from a remote location by using an RDP (Remote Desktop) connection through MS Terminal Services or Citrix. The user can also use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access Truck Tracker remotely.


> Can a parts list be associated with a service?

Yes. Truck Tracker allows you to set up a parts assembly list for each service code. When apply service code to work order may refer to this parts assembly list for parts needed to perform the work.


> Is Truck Tracker capable of tracking core parts?

Yes. Truck Tracker allows you to record core parts and the core credits.


> How does Truck Tracker handle multiple sites?

By purchasing additional site licenses Truck Tracker can filter out what a user views, edits, or adds at each site. Each site maintains a completely seperate parts inventory, as well as the individual lists and transactional histories. You can optionally view Vehicles and their complete maintenance histories from all sites. Reports can be generated for the current site and all sites combined. And at the highest possible level, sites can be grouped into and specific Regions and Business Types.


> Can Truck Tracker use different currency exchanges?

Yes. Truck Tracker allows you to label different currencies and their exchange rates.


> Does Truck Tracker create invoices for maintenance work and parts usage?

Yes. Truck Tracker allows the user to create an invoice from a work order and configure a labor rate increase, parts mark up price, taxes and assign the invoice to a customer.


> Can invoices that are created in Truck Tracker be e-mailed?

Yes. Any invoice that is created in Truck Tracker can be saved and e-mailed to a customer or other recipient.


> Does Truck Tracker have any user security feature?

Yes. Truck Tracker has a comprehensive security feature allowing the administrator to designate each user or groups of user the ability to view, edit, add, or delete in all areas of the program.


> Does Truck Tracker allow you to select the accounting costing method used for parts inventory?

Yes. Truck Tracker provides the user with the choice of average or actual costing for parts inventory.


> Can record entries be organized in alpha or numeric order?

Yes. Clicking on the header column you want to sort by in Truck Tracker will arrange the column data by alpha or numeric order.


> Can columns be moved around in Truck Tracker?

Yes. By clicking on the column header in Truck Tracker, the user can rearrange the columns in the order they are familiar with.


> Can fields and columns be added in Truck Tracker?

Yes. The Vehicle screen provides ten extra user defined fields and the Employee screen provides five extra user defined fields.


> What type of training does FleetSoft offer?

FleetSoft offers three different training options. -With the purchase of the Truck Tracker GOLD support plan the user can gain access to the customer website. The customer website contains several instructional videos. -On-line web training is offered at a cost of $120.00 the first hour and $90.00 per hour for every additional hour. -Customer onsite training classes are offered at a cost of $1500.00 per day for two days at six hours sessions a day. Hotel, Food and Travel expenses are billable to the customer.


> Can Truck Tracker be used for other types of vehicles and equipment besides trucks?

Yes. Truck Tracker is not specifically designed for any particular type of fleet. There are currently police, emergency medical care, fire department, public works, school bus, construction and many other types of fleets using Truck Tracker.
